In-Universe Lore
Scooter was born from his mother, as well as his father. When this occured, he was a newborn baby. Other than that tbh I don't know anything about Scooter's lore as early as this point.
I do however know that at some point when he was around 12, his dad was a supervillan or something? And he blew up a grocery store which Scooter's mom happened to be in. Scooter discovered the wreckage on his way home from school and had like a batman moment. It was at this time he went through his edgy emo phase with the back hair and shit. He also has 3 brothers, his older brother being Scooty, his younger brother being Scoot, and his third brother being some random ass human guy named Dan. Why was he there? I don't know. You've gotta ask Ethan this stuff. Anyways, his brothers and him formed a band at some point, I assume this was during the afformentioned emo phase. Scooty was the drummer and lead singer, Scooter was the guitarist, and Scoot was the keyboardist. I'll get more into this when I write their articles. Anyways at some point Scooter decided that he wanted to try out fatherhood and so he adopted Scooter Jr. The whole deal with him was originally gonna be much darker and more complicated but it got retconned so we don't need to talk about it here.
History
Scooter was originally created by Ethan in 2018. His original design was a Minecraft wolf. Since Ethan had a character now, I had to as well, so I chose Petey, an orange cat from the book series Dog Man, because at that time I was uncreative as hell. Eventually, once the Scooter and Petey comics started being written, Scooter had to get a design of his own, so he did. I, TailsFan628, also made a few comics but those were lost long ago. They probably got recycled into milk cartons or drywall or something. Your house could be made of Scooter comics. Anywho, over the coming months, more characters were made to compliment Scooter, such as Redskull, Scooter Jr, Wolfie, and all those other neat guys. However, around the time the pandemic came around, me and Ethan were seperated since we only saw each other during school, so not much was done with Scooter during this time... until December of 2020. During this time, I had just learned how to animate digitally, and what better character to test my newfound skills with than Scooter? This evolved into the short animation "The Diamond's Discovery" in which Scooter discovers a diamond. Riveting storytelling. When school started back up, I met back up with Ethan and we started making comics again. He quite enjoyed the animation I'd made. New characters also started being made around this time, although they could've still been made in 2020 during the pandemic, I'm not quite sure. During this time we got such memorable characters as Chills the Polar Bear, Gravy the Beaver, Skrappy the Racoon, and Danvers the Fox. I know damn well you only know one of those fellas. It was around this time that I decided to adapt Scooter into a feature film. However, we both know with my general lack of motivation for doing anything got in the way of that. Therefor, instead of a movie, I decided to make a show instead. This evolved into 2022's The Scooter Show. Around this time, Ethan started posting drawings of Scooter and the gang on a social media/art website called Pixilart. He ammassed a large following (around 1k people). The Scooter Show was originally planned to have multiple seasons, each of which would have around 20 episodes, which would put together an epic storyline. This obviously never happened and instead we made 5 short episodes. They were 5 pretty good episodes, though. After this, Ethan started a rap career and I started working on the Squidiots pilot. Scooter hasn't really been in any major things since. He may return triumphantly in the future.
